Dearest Fellow Citizens!
Make sure that you don’t miss to cast a vote this election season, as we have some eye openers to wake you up to the realities of voting and the repercussions of not voting:
• Vote for your own sake! Do yourself a favor for you are the one to bear the consequences of a faulty system or reap the benefits of good governance! Choice is yours!
• Nothing else but your mere participation in the poll will let your voice be heard- All you need to do is to head down to your nearest polling station on the day of voting! Is that what you call an effort? Well, if yes, then voting is worth the effort!
• Be an active agent and not a passive recipient - Bring about a change, don’t be at the receiving end! Realize your power to act, power to raise voice!
• Every drop constitutes the ocean- Every single vote makes the voice one unit louder. Shed the notion that if you don’t vote, then someone else might vote in your place! So a single vote from you can make it or break it!
• Criticize only if you Choose- If you miss to cast vote, you are stripped off your right to complain! So next time when you crib about the misfit government, ask yourself if you are justified in doing so?!
• Be pro-active rather than reactive- Prevention is better than cure as we always say, so why let it go wrong yet again?! Let us prevent ourselves from getting injured this time!
• Voting is a call of duty in the larger interest of the nation- Be a responsible citizen and perform your fundamental duty!
Last but not the least, Be privileged…Don’t be deprived- Avail the privilege of democracy which many other nations are deprived of. At least do justice to the privilege granted to you by your nation! Always remember that voting is a privilege, not a right, granted to you by your nation. So it is high time that we don’t take it for granted anymore, or otherwise, we may actually land into a nightmarish nation with no privileges or rights, but only a pain and a curse to live through!
